What is Acorns to Oaks?
Well it is the section of Roots That Heal where I plan to place information and activities for the younger Reiki and nature enthusiasts. We are all, like the acorns, hoping to grow into sturdy oaks that will last for many years, the learning curve never ends. Yet the learning and shaping is so much more prevalent in the formative years and, having worked with children for many years, I wish to spend some time creating an area especially for them.
Too often we think of Reiki as being something only adults may partake in, yet children have a natural affinity for healing and often act intuitively in ways we have forgotten and feel the need to take numerous courses in to remember. If you have children and find any of these suggestions helpful, please do contact me to let me know. I would also be incredibly interested in hearing anything about how you and your children enjoy Reiki and nature together. I’d be happy to share any ideas or photos on this website that you wish to send me.
