About

Hi and welcome to Roots That Heal.

Just over a year ago, TC over at ReikiBlogger asked me if I would like to write a blog on Celtic Reiki and I jumped at the chance as I love both Reiki and writing! I am a Celtic Reiki master and am currently working on setting up more regular Reiki sessions, both with friends online and my family. I will be writing here all about my Celtic Reiki experiences and hoping to pass on down-to-earth and easy to read information about Celtic Reiki and healing.

But I guess you want to know a bit about me, huh?

I am 24 and currently live in Cambridge, England. I am a recent graduate with a degree in German and Russian under my belt. I adore learning new languages and being able to communicate with others and languages will always be a major part of my life. Academia, however, will not as I find it far too demanding and restrictive.

After a rocky start post-graduation, I have finally settled down into a home I adore, with a partner who shares my love of both Reiki and nature. This is wonderful, as he encourages and inspires me to practise Reiki as well as other forms of healing and balancing myself, such as yoga and meditation, especially in those times when I need them the most but would rather sit and wallow!

Over the past few years I have volunteered on several summer camps for disabled teenage girls, supported disabled university students and worked in both primary schools and nurseries. I adore looking after and supporting others and hope that this blog will become a way of supporting even more people in their exploration of Reiki, especially Celtic Reiki.

With many Blessings
Amanda xx
